could you pipe a capture into something like ffmpeg?
so that you could - basically in real time - make a h.264 or mp4.
That is shoot for 15 min & 2 sec .
stop.
and have a 15 min & 2 sec mp4 of
say 320 x 240 500 kbps .
( but then how would you get audio? )
